December Brain Dump
We are a family of 5, 3 boys, Braden, Parker and Jace. Our family resides in Bartlesville Oklahoma :)
So Fridays' challenge was about Bad Hair Days - anyone that knows my poor boys they know that their hair grows straight out.... like their father's. Anywho.... I decided to not do an embarrassing photo cause oh boy do I have alot of the mad scientist photos, I thought it would be better to remember the positive out of spiky hair!
So last year I came up with something that I could put on my Fridge to remind me of the things I should do during the day. Decided to do a face lift. Change things up alittle. I'm going to start on my family "notebook" too - which will have a more detailed list of things for the day. Plus important things concerning the house, phone numbers, paint chips, meal plans, coupons.... just a Central place for all my stuff!
So... you might be wondering what is going on with Jill, these are obviously rodents. Well, in Ponca City out towards Kaw lake there is a Prairie Dog Preserve. These little guys are so fun to watch. They are entertaining, active, curious, and well ADORABLE.
Here is the second page to go with the first easter page I made earlier last week. I enjoyed putting this together - the boys had so much fun at Grandma and Papa Bentleys. We decided to do the easter egg hunting on Saturday since Easter Sunday was RAINY all darn day.
So as some might know I am serving in the Young Womens Presidency here in Ponca - and was doodling around trying to learn how to use some tools - I found a tool that will bend things... and I started thinking.... the rainbow for YW's needs gold now. So I put together some different papers and then embellished it and added something GOLD =-) now there is an up to date rainbow for the YW's Program.
Okay so todays Tuesday (yes i know it is wednesday at 2 AM) Freebie Scrap Challenge was to use this brown paper. I was really puzzled on what to do. Lets face it I have a crud of things to scrap about. 3 years of Bradens life, almost 2 years of Parkers life.... what did I want to do, what did this paper inspire. VIOLA .... my stick chewing, leaf eating son. He does like salad... though I think my kids will eat anything with ranch on it at the moment. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
Well I'm trying to get myself back into scrapping on a regular basis so one thing that has always helped me is on http://www.scrapgirls.com/ messageboard they post up daily challenges.
